🔬 Project: InViTOP – In vitro test battery for osteoporosis drug screening
📚 Doctoral program participation is mandatory

🧭 What You’ll Do:

• Develop & validate in vitro models (2D/3D cultures, organoids, microphysiological systems)

• Replace/reduce animal testing in osteoporosis drug screening

• Design a test battery for pro-/anti-osteoporotic effects

• Contribute to scientific publications & present research

• Support and supervise lab students

🧾 Requirements:

• 🎓 Master’s in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, toxicology, or similar

• 🧠 Independent, committed, team-oriented, creative

• 💬 Fluent in German and English

• 🧪 Hands-on experience with 2D/3D cell cultures (esp. human primary cells)

➕ Desired Skills:

• Microphysiological systems know-how

• Knowledge of bone physiology/pathophysiology

• Basic toxicology (DGPT courses or equivalent)

• Experience establishing test systems
