The Susztak Lab at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow at the cutting edge of AI, single-cell biology, and computational genomics. Join our world-class team building multi-species single-cell atlases and developing foundation models for the kidney and beyond.
🧠 Your Role
Design and apply novel machine learning and deep learning algorithms (e.g., transformers) to interpret large-scale single-cell and spatial omics datasets from human and rodent tissues.

🎓 Who You Are
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field
- Skilled in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and/or R
- Experience with AI/ML, omics data analysis, or foundation model design
- Bonus: background in single-cell or spatial transcriptomics
