The University of Luxembourg seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to join a cutting-edge interdisciplinary project at the crossroads of entrepreneurial finance, artificial intelligence, and FinTech innovation. Housed within the Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and New Technology (EINT) group at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), this role is a unique opportunity to conduct high-impact research with real-world applications.
π Project Overview
Work with industry partners Wixdom (crowdfunding analytics FinTech) and FINATRAX (decentralized technology research group) to develop an AI-powered mentorship tool that supports entrepreneurs in optimizing fundraising campaigns based on real-time, data-driven analytics from thousands of crowdfunding initiatives.
π Your Role
- Lead research on entrepreneur-AI interactions and data-informed mentorship
- Develop bias metrics, indicators, and analytical models based on crowdfunding data
- Publish in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor PhD students and contribute to grant development
- Shape your own research trajectory within the projectβs interdisciplinary scope
πΌ Your Profile
- PhD in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management, Economics, or related fields
- Strong academic record with publications in reputable journals
- Experience with AI applications, FinTech, or large-scale datasets preferred
- Industry-facing research experience and strong project management skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and intellectually curious
- Fluent in English; no requirement for French, German, or Luxembourgish
