Position Overview

Aarhus University is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join its world-class cryptography and security group. The role focuses on advancing the theory and applications of cryptographic protocols, secure computation, and privacy-preserving technologies. The successful candidate will contribute to collaborative projects funded by both EU and national research programs, while also being encouraged to pursue independent research directions.

Eligibility

• PhD in computer science, mathematics, or a closely related field.

• Strong record of research in cryptography, algorithms, or security.

• Proven ability to work independently and in collaborative teams.

Expertise Required

• Solid background in cryptographic protocols, security proofs, or computational complexity.

• Experience with secure multi-party computation, homomorphic encryption, or blockchain technologies is an advantage.

• Strong mathematical and programming skills.

Salary

Competitive salary in line with the Danish collective agreement for academics.
