Position Overview

Oxford Physics invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to study quantum materials and develop next-generation quantum devices. The research explores superconductivity, topological states of matter, and novel device architectures with applications in quantum computing and sensing.

Eligibility

• PhD in physics, materials science, or electrical engineering.

• Strong record in condensed matter physics or nanotechnology.

• Demonstrated research independence.

Expertise Required

• Experience in low-temperature physics, device fabrication, or spectroscopy.

• Skills in nanofabrication, electron microscopy, or cryogenic measurements.

• Strong theoretical or computational modeling background is a plus.

Salary

£39,000 – £45,000 per annum.
