Position Overview

ETH Zürich invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to advance synthetic biology approaches for engineering microbial and mammalian systems. The fellow will contribute to developing new genetic circuits, biosensors, and therapeutic strategies, bridging cutting-edge biotechnology with translational research.

Eligibility

• PhD in bioengineering, molecular biology, synthetic biology, or related discipline.

• Strong publication record in biotechnology or related fields.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Expertise Required

• Experience in CRISPR/Cas systems, genome engineering, or synthetic circuits.

• Skills in molecular cloning, omics technologies, and computational design.

• Interest in translational applications of synthetic biology.

Salary

CHF 80,000 – 86,000 per annum, with Swiss academic benefits.
