Position Overview

Wageningen University is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow to study molecular interactions between plants and microbes, focusing on disease resistance and symbiosis. The project integrates molecular biology, genetics, and systems biology to identify key mechanisms driving plant resilience.

Eligibility

• PhD in plant biology, microbiology, or molecular biology.

• Strong research record in plant-microbe interactions.

• Demonstrated skills in molecular biology techniques.

Expertise Required

• Experience with CRISPR/Cas, transcriptomics, or proteomics.

• Knowledge of plant defense pathways or symbiotic signaling.

• Bioinformatics skills are an advantage.

Salary

€52,000 – €58,000 per annum with benefits.
