Position Overview

The IMPRS-Molecules of Life program offers a structured PhD environment with training in molecular biology, biophysics, and biochemistry. The program includes coursework, mentor supervision, and the ability to tailor research to one’s interests within the broad field of molecular life sciences.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in biology, biochemistry, biophysics, biotechnology, or related.

• Outstanding academic track record.

Expertise Required

• Strong molecular biology or biochemistry background.

• Motivation for interdisciplinary work.

Salary

PhD stipend under German MPIs’ standard terms.
