Position Overview

The Winter Selection 2026 cohort for Dresden’s interdisciplinary PhD programme, featuring projects in molecular, cell & developmental biology; quantitative biology; bioengineering & biomaterials. Admission includes interviews, match with research group, and a week of onsite group leader meetings.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant fields (biology, biomedicine, physics, quantitative biology).

• Demonstrated research interest in one of the participating labs.

Expertise Required

• Depending on project: molecular / developmental biology; biophysics; biomaterials; quantitative biology.

• Good lab / computational skills; ability to work in interdisciplinary setting.

Salary / Funding

Includes funding for tuition/study, research, stipend.
