Position Overview
The ATLAS Group at NIKHEF is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in Experimental Particle Physics and Machine Learning to contribute to advanced data analysis and algorithm development for the ATLAS experiment at CERN.

Duration / Type of Position
Three-year postdoctoral position (employed by NWO-I Foundation for NIKHEF)

Supervisor / Contact Person
Prof. Dr. Wouter Verkerke (ATLAS Group Lead)

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Computational Physics, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong data analysis and algorithm development background

Preferred / Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale datasets and ML in physics
• Record of publications in experimental or computational physics
• Experience in large scientific collaborations
