Position Overview
Prestigious 2–2.5-year research fellowship aimed at bringing outstanding early-career statisticians to Columbia. Fellows pursue independent research in any area of statistics or probability and participate actively in the department’s research life.

Duration / Type of Position

• Full-time postdoctoral research scientist 
• 2 years (2.5 years if you opt to teach one course) 

Start Date

• Between July–September 2026 (flexible within that window)

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Statistics or a closely related field by start date 
• Strong record and promise of impactful research

Preferred Qualifications

• Evidence of exceptional research potential (publications, preprints, strong thesis)
