Position Overview
National fellowship to support postdocs working in fusion energy and plasma science. Fellows conduct research at DOE facilities on topics such as plasma physics, high-energy density plasmas, and fusion technology.
Duration / Type of Position
- Full-time postdoctoral fellowship
- Typically 2–3 years (depending on project and host lab)
Start Date

Supervisor / Contact Person
- Mentor identified in the host DOE FES project
Required Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant science/engineering field (e.g., physics, plasma physics, nuclear, electrical, mechanical) within 4 years of the deadline
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated research productivity
- Experience in plasma/fusion-related topics
