Nature of Work
The selected candidate will work on the assembly, characterization, and validation of a fiber-based magnetometer. Responsibilities include:
- Design and simulation of photonic and fiber-optic components
- Use of optical simulation software (COMSOL, Lumerical)
- Fiber splicing, alignment, and packaging
- Signal conditioning, data acquisition, and noise analysis
- Prototyping, testing, and performance evaluation
- Preparation of technical reports
Essential Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech in:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Fiber Optics / Photonics
- OR related fields
- Required skills:
- Understanding of fiber-optic sensing
- Experience in simulation tools (COMSOL, Lumerical)
- Data acquisition and signal analysis
- Valid GATE / NET qualification
- Age limit: Below 32 years
Salary: ₹37,000 + 24% HRA per month
Tenure
- Initially 1 year (extendable based on performance)
