• Grade-II: fresh PhD with strong research record. 
• Grade-I: PhD + minimum 3 years of teaching / research / industry experience after PhD. 

Pay Scale & Benefits

• Grade-II: Level 10, ₹57,700–98,200 (starting around ₹89,800). 
• Grade-I: Level 12, ₹1,01,500–1,67,400. 
• Extra benefits: joining fellowship (≈₹30k/month for 3 years), faculty initiation grant, PDA, travel reimbursement, campus housing, medical & children education allowance, LTC, etc.
