General Information !
The PhD Fellowship Program by RFCSR is a support initiative for deserving and committed PhD students in the sciences who are pursuing their doctoral studies without formal financial aid or scholarship. We understand that financial insecurity can limit the progress and success of promising researchers.
This fellowship provides direct financial support to cover basic living costs, research-related expenses, or institutional fees — helping ensure continuity in doctoral education.
Eligibility Criteria !
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be enrolled in a PhD program in a recognized academic or scientific institution.
- Be engaged in original scientific research.
- Not currently receive a full scholarship or equivalent external financial support.
- Researchers' scholarship is ending within the next two years.
- Have completed at least the first 6 months of their PhD (preferred).
!Note: Priority is given to applicants from underrepresented academic or scientific institutions, and those demonstrating strong academic merit.
Application Process !

- The selection committee reviews applications based on merit, need, and feasibility.
- Selected fellows are contacted within 6–8 weeks.
- Fellowship funds are disbursed in installments based on an agreed schedule.

- Fellowship does not replace institutional funding or cover 100% tuition.
- Acknowledgment of RFCSR in publications and dissertation is required.
- Misuse of funds or lack of reporting may result in termination of support.
