Position Overview

The Cologne Graduate School of Ageing Research (CGA) offers up to 12 fully funded PhD positions in ageing research (developmental, cellular, evolutionary, genetics, etc.), within an interdisciplinary research environment. Supports include supervision from top research groups, courses and travel grants.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant field (biology, genetics, metabolism, cell biology).

• Motivation for interdisciplinary research.

Expertise Required

• Background in biological or biomedical research; lab experience preferred.

• Good quantitative, analytical, or molecular skills.

Salary

Paid according to German TV-L E13 or Max Planck PhD contract scales. Max Planck Society
