The Morgridge Institute for Research, in partnership with the Department of Biomolecular Chemistry at UW-Madison, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor to lead an innovative metabolism-focused research program. This joint position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of metabolism with cellular processes such as signaling, transcription, cell death, proliferation, and intercellular communication.
π¬ Research Focus
We welcome diverse approaches studying metabolism in contexts including infection/immunology, development, aging, complex diseases, and metabolic disorders. The successful candidate will join the Morgridge Instituteβs Metabolism Theme and the campus-wide UW Metabolism Initiative, benefiting from a vibrant interdisciplinary environment with access to world-class proteomics, metabolomics, and computational biology resources.

- PhD, MD, or equivalent in biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, or related field
- Proven record of high-impact metabolism research
