Position Overview

ZMT is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow to develop models of ecosystem dynamics under climate change. The position focuses on tropical marine ecosystems and integrates field data, ecological theory, and computational simulations to predict the impacts of warming, acidification, and overfishing.

Eligibility

• PhD in ecology, marine biology, environmental science, or related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in ecological modeling or quantitative ecology.

• Strong interest in climate change and sustainability.

Expertise Required

• Skills in ecological modeling, remote sensing, or GIS.

• Experience with R, Python, or MATLAB for data analysis.

• Ability to work across disciplines and engage with stakeholders.

Salary

€52,000 – €58,000 per annum, depending on experience, with full benefits.
