Position Overview

This fellowship targets researchers interested in linking biogeochemistry, ecology, and Earth system science. The fellow will join projects examining the carbon cycle, land-atmosphere interactions, and biodiversity under climate change. The institute encourages interdisciplinary approaches, including data-driven science, modeling, and experimental research.

Eligibility

• PhD in environmental sciences, ecology, or related field.

• Evidence of interdisciplinary research ability.

• Strong publication record.

Expertise Required

• Skills in ecosystem science, climate modeling, or big data analytics.

• Experience with coding (R, Python, or MATLAB).

• Familiarity with remote sensing or field experiments is a plus.

Salary

€50,000 – €56,000 per annum, depending on qualifications.
