Postdoctoral Fellow – Precision Agriculture and Remote Sensing

Position Overview

The Department of Agroecology seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow to advance precision agriculture through the use of drones, satellite imaging, and advanced data analytics. The fellow will develop methods to monitor crop growth, detect stress, and improve sustainability in modern farming systems. This project is part of a broader national effort to harness digital technologies for sustainable food production.

Eligibility

  • PhD in agricultural sciences, remote sensing, geoinformatics, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated expertise in precision agriculture or crop modeling.

  • Strong record of publications and teamwork.

Expertise Required

  • Experience in remote sensing, GIS, or machine learning.

  • Skills in handling large datasets and applying statistical or computational models.

  • Knowledge of crop systems and agroecology is an advantage.

Salary

Competitive salary under the Danish collective agreement for academics.
