Position Overview

The Fischer Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to study the ubiquitin-proteasome system using structural biology, chemical biology, proteomics, and computational approaches. Research integrates cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, NMR, and mass spectrometry to address mechanistic principles of protein regulation and their role in human diseases, including cancer.

Qualifications

• PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, or related field.

• Strong publication record and ability to lead complex projects.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Experience in at least two of the following:

• Protein expression/purification (insect or mammalian systems)

• Cryo-EM or X-ray structure determination

• Protein biophysics or enzyme kinetics

• Computational/quantitative analysis
