Position Overview
The Fischer Lab is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to explore the biology of the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which regulates protein turnover and plays a crucial role in health and disease. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge structural, chemical, and computational tools to uncover how proteins are targeted for degradation and how these processes can be harnessed for therapeutic development. Eligibility
- PhD in biology, biochemistry, structural biology, or related discipline.
- Evidence of strong scientific productivity, demonstrated by publications or conference presentations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Expertise Required
- Familiarity with protein biochemistry, proteomics, or structural biology.
- Experience in cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, or chemical biology is highly desirable.
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
