Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City, an institute of national importance established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites applications for faculty positions in various academic disciplines. The institute is looking to hire highly motivated and qualified faculty at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor (Grades I & II) to strengthen its academic and research ecosystem.
Applications are invited for the following disciplines:
- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Mathematics
- English
Appointments will be made on a regular basis, subject to satisfactory performance and institutional requirements. The selected candidates will be expected to contribute to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, undertake independent research, guide students, and participate in academic administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the qualifications as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Government of India norms. A Ph.D. in the relevant field is required.
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Ph.D. with first-class in preceding degrees
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Minimum 3 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industry experience
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of post-Ph.D. experience
- Professor: Minimum 10 years of post-Ph.D. experience
Required Expertise, Skills
- Strong academic background and research credentials
- Evidence of high-quality publications in reputed journals
- Teaching experience at the university level
- Ability to attract and execute sponsored research projects
- Willingness to participate in institutional development activities
Salary Details
Salary will be as per 7th Central Pay Commission norms and applicable Government of India rules:
- Assistant Professor Grade II: Academic Level 10
- Assistant Professor Grade I: Academic Level 12
- Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A2
- Professor: Academic Level 14A
