Seeking a PhD candidate to work at the interface of Chemistry and Bioengineering
Description
Research topic: SELF-ASSEMBLY OF SHORT PEPTIDES TOWARDS NOVEL ANTIMICROBIALS Interdisciplinary PhD Grant available to work at the development of novel short antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) and cutting-edge bioengineered platforms to assess the efficacy of these AMPs in relevant contexts. The PhD candidate will be supervised by Dr. Claudia Pigliacelli and Dr. Nina Bono.

Terms and Conditions: 3 years PhD contract
Requirements
- Master degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Materials and Nanotechnology Engineering, Bioengineering or related areas should be gained before the start of the contract (12th of December 2024)
- Candidates are expected to be interested in multidisciplinary work and willing to gain skills in several scientific fields
- Good interpersonal skills are required as well as good command of English language, written and oral.
