1. 1. “Integrating Weather and Remote Sensing Data for Geo-Spatial Forewarning Models for Crop Pests and Diseases” (SUFALAM Phase II; funded by SAC, Ahmedabad). 

• “Kisan Sarathi 2.0: Enhancement, Operation, Maintenance and Support for Crop Sciences (Domain Lead Institute)” (funded by ICAR & DIC, New Delhi). 

Nature of Work

• Integration of weather and remote sensing data 
• Development of geospatial pest/disease forewarning models 
• ICT platforms and decision-support tools for Kisan Sarathi 2.0 
• Data handling, coding, and knowledge management in agriculture 

Essential Qualification

• Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Agricultural Statistics / Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics / Agricultural Engineering or related fields with relevant background. 
• For SRF: Master’s degree + 2 years research experience is usually required. 
• NET qualification (CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT etc.) as per ICAR rules. 

Salary 

• JRF: ~₹37,000 + HRA 
• SRF: ~₹42,000 + HRA
